Join us for the Fourth National Meeting of the US Network for Democracy in Brazil
Celebrating democracy in Brazil and planning future solidarity initiatives
Reflections and discussions with focus on what can be done from next year and on to continuously support Brazilian democracy from the United States. With special guests, and current members of the USNDB.
Featured speaker: Robeyoncé Lima, State Assembly co-representative of the collective mandate Juntas, lawyer, and vice-president of the Truth Commission on Black Slavery (OAB-PE).
After 4 years of an extreme-right government that created division and distrust, dismantled social programs, incited violence and disregard against social movements, we finally have come to a moment where the majority of Brazilians have chosen a different path through fair and democratic elections.
In this scenario, we want to think together on how to move forward with our activities while reflecting on our past achievements.
